We were looking for a small, nurturing environment that was academically challenging for our son...we have not regretted the decision.
-Clive Harrison, Parent
My experience at Orinda Academy incredibly changed my life. I am not quite sure that I would be writing from a wonderful college had I never attended Orinda Academy.

OA Baseball Victory! 14, 2008 The Orinda Academy Eagles Baseball team won its first game of the season, and eighth straight over the past couple of seasons, with a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over Hanna Boys Center at our home field. Dylan Goldman led off the bottom of the first with a hard single up the middle and then stole second, third, and home to tie the game at 1-1, and later put OA ahead 4-3 in the bottom of the 4th inning with another single through the middle scoring Kyle Drewes and Devin Marcus. David Treas and Kyle's singles began the 3-run rally. After HBC tied the game in the top of the 6th and last inning, Brandon Davis singled home Collin Spencer with the winning run. Brandon had 18 strikeouts, including 4 in the third inning, and allowed 4 infield hits and no base on balls while pitching his complete game victory. Ken Fleichman reached base four times on walks and stole 3 bases, Seth Viruet-Krevolin had a hit and several nice picks at first base, and Devin Marcus put in a heroic effort behind the plate. Overall, it was a great team effort. We play at home again on Tuesday, 3/18 at 2:45 PM versus Jewish Community. Thanks to all who came and watched. We hope to see you on Tuesday. Mitch |
