The need for additional funding stems from Orinda Academy's ambitious commitment to a bold and diverse curriculum, and from our goal of providing the best learning environment possible for our student body. Independent schools require additional fund raising because tuition alone cannot provide the quality programs we are known for. Advanced courses in the arts, music, and technology, an active athletic department, and a financial-aid program mean that secondary sources of income are a true necessity.
