School Holiday Party-Half Day
On Friday December 19, 2008, Orinda Academy will hold its annual Holiday Party from 8:30 am to 12:30pm. We will have various activities (ornament decorating, movies, graham-cracker house construction and so forth) going from 9-12, and then we will enjoy a sandwich and sides lunch at noon. Each advisory is responsible for bringing supplies for the party. The quantities given in the following list are per person.
Ben’s Advisory: 1 pound sliced meat or cheese for the sandwiches. Bring your favorite!
Elaine Hester’s Advisory: 12 canned drinks.
Bob’s Advisory: Salads—green, fruit, pasta, potato, etc. Bring your favorite.
Irene’s Advisory—One can of frosting and one bag of candy to decorate the graham cracker houses.
Loyes’ Advisory: 2 boxes of plain graham crackers.
Elaine Chu’s Advisory: 1 large loaf of sliced bread and 1 bag of chips.
Robyn’s Advisory: 1 pound sliced meat or cheese for the sandwiches. Bring your favorite!
Starfire’s Advisory: Desserts. Bring one cake, one pie, or two-dozen cookies or cupcakes.
Katherine’s Advisory: Two-dozen plain sugar cookies to be decorated.
Mitch’s Advisory: One can of frosting and one bag of candy to decorate the graham cracker houses.
Jeff’s Advisory: Appetizers. Nuts, olives, veggies and dips, cheese and crackers, something like that. Bring your favorite.
The schedule will be something like this:
Drop off food and optional white elephant gifts in Room 3 until 9:00.
Gather in Study Halls for white elephant until 9:45.
Activities: 10:00 –11:45
Clean up Activity areas 11:45—Noon
Lunch Noon—12:30pm.
Clean up, go home, have a wonderful break.
