OPEN HOUSE DEC. 4 1-4PM

Dec 04 2011 -  Orinda Academy is offering an Open House for prospective families on Sunday, December 4th from 1:00 – 4:00 PM. There will be campus tours at 1:00 and an informational meeting at 1:30 PM.

Shadow Visits

Oct 17 2011 -  We are now scheduling Shadow Visits for interested families. Preferable visits are on Mon. Tues. and Fridays for a half day in the morning. Call or email the admissions office at 925-254-7553 x 305 or laurel@orindaacademy.org to schedule a shadow visit for your student.

OA 30th Anniversary

Sep 08 2011 -  Orinda Academy is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The school was founded in 1982 by Ron Graydon, who is still the head of school. OA has improved dramatically over the last 30 years and continues to offer a quality college preparatory learning experience that has graduated over 600 students.

OA offers American Sign Language

Jul 26 2011 -  Orinda Academy is pleased to announce that we will be offering American Sign Language as taught by Sandra Amundsen.

Summer School Enrollment Opens

Apr 26 2011 -  Orinda Academy is once again offering it's Summer School program for middle school and high school from June 20th through August 5th. Classes run from 9:00 to 1:00 daily, except July 4th.

Orinda Academy Opens Sixth Grade Class for Fall 2012!

Mar 18 2011 -  Due to popular local demand for a personalized quality middle school program, specifically sixth grade, Orinda Academy has chosen to extend its expertise and return to offering sixth grade starting with the Fall 2011 term this coming August.

Over 330 People Attend Original Minds Screening!

Feb 04 2011 -  In the Dean's Office at Orinda Academy hangs a button that simply states, "All Children Learn Differently!" On Friday, February 4, 2011 approximately 330 people seated in the Mormon Temple auditorium would likely have agreed with this sentiment.
