Student Support Services

Our teachers understand different learning styles and recognize that not all students learn the same way.  Orinda Academy's dedicated and talented faculty is able to present a curriculum to meet the individual needs of each student.  We provide a learning environment where students gain the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world.

Ensuring that students reach their full potential occasionally requires one-on-one support.  OA has partnered with two wonderful organizations to fully support the whole student.

Students needing additional support for academics or organizational skills may elect to receive for-fee individual coaching on-site at OA through Student Organizational Services (http://www.sos4students.com/).

Teen social/emotional needs are addressed by the talented counselors of Coyote Coast (http://www.coyotecoast.org/).

Additionally Orinda Academy networks with professional organizations dedicated to student support in both private and public schools throughout the bay area.  We are a PEN member school (http://www.parentseducationnetwork.org/) and participated in the first annual Education Revolution 2009 at AT&T Park.
