Giving Tuesday

Posted on December 2, 2013June 14, 2018

Dear Parents,

Tuesday, December 3rd is being called Giving Tuesday.  Following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Tuesday is a time to support charities and non-profits like Orinda Academy.  By supporting Orinda Academy through donations to the Annual Fund, you are directly supporting your child and other children at our school.  Orinda Academy does change lives and we need additional resources to be able to accomplish this incredibly worthwhile goal.

Thirty-percent of our students are on financial aid and we receive no funding for providing a quality college prep education in a private school for academically-qualified, but financially-needy families. This helps provide our diverse and wonderful student population with the resources they need to be successful and work to their potential.  It also increases the amount of lives we can improve through an excellent education and a rich, diverse, and international community of learners in an outstanding learning environment.

Donations received by December 31st can be applied as charitable donations for this tax year of 2013.  You may donate online here or use the brochure we sent out, which is enclosed here.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation and enjoy the holidays.
