Mitch Goldman is a Mathematics and Film teacher as well as Athletic Director and Basketball coach at Orinda Academy where he’s been for nearly 27 years. He has a Bachelors of Science in Applied Mathematics with a secondary education emphasis from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and a Masters of Art in Mathematics from San Francisco State University. He has a Permanent New York State Secondary School Certification and a California Community College credential and has taught in high schools in New York and classes at Chabot College and Los Medanos College in the Bay Area. Mitch has a total of 37 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator including serving as Assistant Director at Orinda Academy for several years. Mitch enjoys the company of his family including his wife Sara and his children, Dylan and Hanna, both of whom attended Orinda Academy. Mitch has many hobbies including music, reading and writing, and sports, particularly his beloved SF Giants.
