Coyote Coast Counselor
Chloe is a Virginia native who has fallen in love with the Bay Area for its natural beauty and cultural richness. Chloe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received her degree from Smith College. She works in a relational way, incorporating mindfulness, social justice, and the arts into her therapeutic work. Chloe currently teaches the Leadership Class for 11th and 12th graders. In this class, leadership students mentor new students, develop activities for a positive school environment, learn dialogue and mediation skills, and practice social justice tactics.
When not at Orinda Academy Chloe does therapeutic work with teenagers and families through Coyote Coast Youth and Family Counseling. She feels particularly drawn to working with teenagers and young adults because of the particular struggles and opportunities they encounter when exploring their identity and finding their own, unique place in the world. When not working, Chloe loves exploring new trails with her dog, sea kayaking, painting and cooking.
