Go Over Practice Questions and Exams
Your prep school teacher may provide you with practice questions to help you study for your midterm. He or she may even administer a practice exam for you so that you’ll know what to expect. If not, you should be able to find practice questions or exams online or by using your textbook’s resources. You might also consider hiring a tutor to help you prepare for your midterm. A tutor can write practice questions for you based upon the material in your book, and will go over the answers with you afterward.

Study for Small Periods Every Day
Studying for a small amount of time every day is much more effective than cramming the night before your test. Create a schedule that allows you to get an hour or so of studying in every day for a week or two before your midterm exam. This will give you some flexibility as you prepare, and will allow you to adapt your studying to fit your learning style.

Talk to Your Teacher if You Have Questions or Concerns
It’s very important to make the time to see your high school teacher if you’re having trouble with any of the material that will be on your midterm. The sooner you seek help from your teacher, the more time you’ll have to fully master the material.
