OA embraces all learning styles while encouraging students to take ownership of their education.

Orinda Academy is a nurturing haven for students who desire a smaller high school environment. Students can thrive, rediscover their potential, and lay the foundation for a successful future. Orinda Academy uses many techniques to help all of our learners, including:

  • Harvard & CAST’s Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

  • On-Site Learning Specialists

  • Certified On-Site Emotional Wellness Counselor

  • Executive Function Support

  • 9th Grade Study Skills Class

  • 12th Grade College, Adult, and Financial Literacy Class

  • Individualized College Counseling with On-Site Specialist

  • Systems in place to ensure students remain on track, including: FLEX, supervised study halls, and regular updates to parents.
